To Whom it May Concern:
In regard to dog owners: Get your dog vaccinated for rabies and purchase your tags before January 31, 1971.
I plan to call on every dog owner in Rappahannock County, so 1 ask you to have your vaccination certificate and license handy. It is no problem for me to know who has dog tags and who does not have them. The receipts are in triplicate form, the purchaser gets a white receipt with his tags, the dog warden gets a green one for his file, the yellow one stays in the receipt book in Mr. Brown’s office.
In regard to German Shepherds or Police dogs, the fee is $5.00 per male dog and $10.00 per female. It states in the law book if they are as much as Vi German Shepherd or Police dog the fee is the same as purebred ones.
If you have a stray dog at your home and do not want to tag it, contact your dog warden, he will get it out of your way.
