Trooper Paul P. Dicks of Luray has been promoted to investigator with the Virginia Department of State Police effective today, April 1. Mr. Dicks has served with this organization for ten and a half years. He received his initial training in Williamsburg and following the completion of state school in Richmond was assigned to Prince William County. His next assignment was in Rappahannock and at this time he made his home in Flint Hill before being transferred to Page County where he presently resides with his wife and two daughters. Mr. Dicks will be associated with the Sixth Division in the Salem office. Mrs. Dicks and children will remain in Luray until the close of school, then join him in Salem. The vacancy created by the promotion of Mr. Dicks will be filled as soon as possible.
