Easter Services
Easter Sunrise Service will be held at 6 a.m. at the Flint Hill Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jerry Campbell conducting.
Easter Sunday morning worship service will be held at 11 a.m. at the Amissville Baptist Church with the Rev. Koy Petersen presenting the message. Special music will be provided by the Youth Choir.
Craft Group Studies
Tole Stenciling
The regular meeting of the Arts and Crafts Group will be held Tuesday, April 13 at 10 a.m. at the Cab-Inn, Sperryville for the first of three lessons in tole stenciling. This will be taught by Mrs. Milton Grimsley of Culpeper. Those attending are advised to bring a tray or other piece prepared for stenciling. For information call Mrs. Grimsley at 825-8778.
Registrar Needs SS Numbers
The Social Security number of each person registering to vote will be required, according to the General Registrar of Rappahannock, Mrs. Mary Cleverley. All residents who have registered in the past will also be asked to supply their Social Security number to the registrar. Mrs. Cleverley is in the registrar’s office in the courthouse at Washington each Thursday from 8 a.m. until 12 noon and from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Evening hours will be announced at a later date.
