Douglas E. Lillard was inducted into the U. S. Army on February 4, 1971 alter enlisting and is taking basic training at Fort Campbell, Ky. When he completes his eightweek basic period he will be assigned to Fort Belvoir, Va. His address is Pvt. Douglas E. Lillard, SSN 227-74-9965, 1st. Pit. B-2-1 USATC, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He is the son of Mrs. Mary Frances Lillard of Front Royal and of Ernest Lillard, Flint Hill. He graduated from Rappahannock County High School and attended Ferrum College.

Pvt. Thomas Wayne Utz has completed basic training with the U. S. Army at Fort Campbell, Ky. and will receive further schooling at Fort Bragg, N. C. He is spending a 14-day leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Utz at Castleton and will leave April 3 for Fort Bragg.
