RCEA Elects Officers
The Rappahannock County Education Association met Wednesday, March 24 and officers for the 1971-72 session were elected. Edward Gray was named to the presidency; and Miss Elsie Dodson was seated at vice president. Mrs. Linda Yakim was selected as secretary and Mrs. Dorothy Butler as treasurer.
Chester Gap Revival and Sunrise Service
April 12th through April 18th is Revival time at the Chester Gap Baptist Mission. Evening services are set each day at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The Rev. Clifford Compton, Pastor of Brushfork Baptist Church, Brushfork, W. Va. will be the evangelist.
An Easter Sunrise Service will be held at 5:30 a.m., Morning Worship at 11 a.m. The day will be concluded with a Candlelight Service at 6:30 p.m. The Adult Choir and the Junior Choir will come together to give the Candlelight Service. The public is invited to attend all these services.
