AmVille Club Hears
Ideas on Furniture
The April meeting of the Amissville Homemakers Club will be held Monday night, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Amissville Baptist Church. Mrs. George Lawrence will give the program, “Ideas on How to Use Old Furniture.” Maybe Alice will be able to tell you jwhat to* do with that auction sale bargain you just couldn’t resist buying. This project might help husbands too. They will be glad to be able to get the car back in the garage again. Mrs. Gilbert Lawrence and Mrs. James Sealock will share with the club information and knowledge gained in the adult education classes. They were enrolled in the furniture refinishing class. At the March meeting, three "new members were welcomed, Mrs. Lewis Judd, Mrs. F. J. Crescenti and Mrs. Steve Jeffries.
Candle molds have been purchased by the club for the use of all members. The date for the candle-making workshop will be set at the April meeting.
