Home Ec students at R.C.H.S. are busy baking pies for practice in preparation for the apple pie baking contest held annually in connection with the Apple Blossom Festival in Winchester. Among those baking pies are, seated, Deloris Gibbs, Christine Timbers, Donna Roy , standing, Mrs. Jane Kestner, instructor, Leslie GrOves, Lucie Jackson, Barbara Steele, Carolyn Woodward and Janet Cloud. The young lady who is victorious in the school contest will go to Winchester where students from four states will compete. There were many more R.C.H.S. students than these pictured who had entries.
