Mrs. Joan Lee Spence was graduated from Madison College, Harrisonburg on Sunday, June 6, 1971 with a bachelor of science degree in History. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Lee of Flint and is married to Gerald Spence of Harrisonburg. Mrs. Spence was a 1967 graduate of Rappahannock County High School.

Miss Nancy Elizabeth Buntin was graduated Sunday, June 6, 1971 from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Commencement was held at 2 p.m. in the Mosque. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Buntin of Washington, Va. and a 1967 graduate of Rappahannock County High School.

Among those receiving a degree in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond Sunday was Earl Kline Edmonds, Jr., son of Mrs. Earl K. Edmonds of Huntly and the late Mr. Edmonds. He is a 1966 graduate of Rappahannock County High School and attended Chowan College, Murfreesboro, N.C. for two years. He completed his studies earlier and at present is serving with the U. S. Army at the Medical Corps Centre of Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas.

Francis Wendell Latham jr. received his masters degree in education from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg at commencement held Saturday, June 5, 1971. Wendell was a graduate of Culpeper County High School, Class of 1961 and in 1965 received his bachelor of science degree with a major in agricultural education from Virginia Tech. Since that time he has held the position of instructor of Vocational Agriculture at C. T. Smith High School in Lady Smith, Caroline County. He is married to the former Camilla Barron of Viewtown and they reside in Fredericksburg. He is the son of Mrs. W. R. Bowen of Amissville and the late Mr. Latham.
