The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries at a meeting held in Richmond, Virginia, on April 29, 1971, adopted the following amended or new regulations pursuant to Sections 29-125, 29-126 and 29-127 of the Code of Virginia, to become effective July 1, 1971.
CHAPTER 16. Raccoon R16-2. It shall be lawful to hunt raccoon in Bedford County from October 16 through January 31, both dates inclusive.
R16.3 It shall be lawful to hunt raccoon in the counties of Albemarle, Amherst (west of U.S. Route 29), Appomattox, Fairfax, Fauquier, Franklin, Greene, Henry, Loudoun, Madison, Nelson (west of Route 161) Patrick, Pittsylvania, Prince William, Rappahannock and Stafford from October 1 through March 10, both dates inclusive.
