Michael Eugene Papasodora was convicted in Rappahannock County Circuit Court of shooting into an occupied dwelling. The offense occurred February 28 at Five Forks near Woodville. He was arraigned May 10 and entered a plea of not guilty and waived a trial by jury. He was found guilty, but sentence has not been passed. The judge requested a presentence report from a probation officer. Papasadora was brought here from Fairfax County jail to stand trial Following his original charge, he was released on bond and later apprehended in Fairfax for breaking and entering. He was returned to Fairfax authorities. Harry M. Hart, of Culpeper, charged with second degree murder in the July 18, 1970 slaying of a Negro youth at Flatwood, received a suspension of his 20 year prison sentence which had been commuted earlier. This action was taken in Circuit court here June 8. Hart had entered a plea of guilty and was given a 20year sentence.
Conditions of the suspension included probation for ten years; payment of costs of the prosecution in the amount of $2,813.77 at the rate of $15 a week; not allowed to own or carry a weapon; not to use or possess alcoholic beverages or frequent places where they are sold; use automobile for transportation to work until further ordered; subject to search of home, auto or person by officers at any time, work regularly and obey laws.
He was credited with the 271 days of confinement and released in '.he custody of a probation officer.
