Only a few residents of Rappahannock were present for the June 1st Board of Supervisors meeting at which time the budget for the coming year was adopteu as well as the redistricting ordinances. Little discussion preceded the adoption of both The only change in the budget as published was allowing $2000 for the operation of Rappahannock Library instead of the original $500 Mrs. Mary Jamieson presented statistics on the use and need of the facility and enumerated the various activities there. The Board approved the change. The newly formed election districts were approved and it was noted that the magisterial district would remain as before for the use in recording deeds, etc. The election districts will be required to change every ten years if the population distribution changes.
