Foot Injured in
Hunting Accident
Frank Coffey III of Sperryville sustained a foot injury in a gun accident which occurred Saturday while he was hunting. As Frank attempted to load his 12 gauge shot gun, it fired and the blast went through his big toe on the right foot. He was taken to Culpeper Memorial Hospital where he remains a patient for the injury was severe enough to necessitate the amputation of his toe. Surgery will be performed Monday. Frank is the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey, jr.
