Mason Brent of Richmond and the University of Virginia and Miss Scottie Newell of Richmond were Saturday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller at Mt. Prospect. Trenton Burke of Culpeper was a luncheon guest last Wednesday of his mother Mrs. Guy Burke. Luncheon guests on Thursday were her brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. John Evans of Luray. Saturday afternoon callers were Mrs. Estelle Milens and Bob Foley of Manassas. C. Cletus Burke of Front Royal was a Sunday dinner guest of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke at their home on Blue Ridge Avenue. The Burkes were Tuesday night dinner guests of their son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Ashton W. Burke in Warrenton.
Church Picnic Rescheduled
The Trinity Episcopal Church Sunday School Picnic, twice postponed because of rain, is scheduled to be held Sunday, October 3 at the home of Mrs. W. H. Cordle, Sperryville.
