Mrs. Alice Dorsey

r Bi-County Arts and Crafts met with Mrs. Virginia Brown of New Salem Thursday evening, Sept. 16 with a good attendance. HodPodge was taught by the Club leader Mrs. Howard J. Waddell. Following a business meeting refreshments were served by the hostess. The October 21 meeting place will be announced later by Mrs. Waddell.

Mr. and Mrs. Cary Thornhill returned to their home for the weekend, after spending the week in Manassas caring for their grandchildren, whose parents Mr. and Mrs. Winfrey Thornhill are vacationing and visiting Mrs. Thornhill’s relatives in Germany. Mrs. Thornhill returned to Manassas Sunday evening, to spend the week. The Winfrey Thornhills will return October 8.

Mrs. Hazel Barfield spent last week in Berryville visiting her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Barfield and family.

James Cannon Elected To Angus Association

James M. Cannon, Castleton, Virginia has been elected to membership in the American Angus Association at St. Joseph, Missouri, announces Lloyd D. Miller, executive secretary.

There were 327 memberships issued to breeders of registered Aberdeen-Angus in the United States during the past month.
