The fourteenth annual House Tour and Dried Flower Arrangement Sale sponsored by the Episcopal Churchwomen of Bromfield Parish in Rap pahannock County will be held on October 16 and 17.
Flower arrangements will only be sold in the Trinity Episcopal Church Parish Hall salesroom in Washington, Virginia on Saturday and Sunday. The tour hours and sale will be from 11 a m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Block tickets will be $2.00 individual houses will be $1.00 each.
Box lunches will be sold each day across from the Episcopal Parish Hall parking lot in Washington by members of the First Baptist Church. A turkey dinner will be served Saturday night at the Flint Hill fire hall by ladies of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Homes open for the Tour this year include Blue Rock Farm, on Route 211 three miles west ol Washington, owned by Mr. and Mrs. Ian Pryde and Mrs. Pryde’s sister, Mrs. Mary Van Brederode Taking the old farm house as a nucleus, the two families have added in all directions to tran sform it into a house for easy dual family living. Tea will be servec each afternoon ah Blue RocI Farm.
