Robert Alan Johnson
Robert Alan Johnson of Woodville died September 23, 1971 at Culpper Memorial Hospital. He was ten years old, a fourth-grader at Rappahannock Elementarv School He had been in poor health for several years.
He is survived by his parents Wieland C. and Lillie Mae Johnson of Woodville; a brother, Charles Thomas Johnson; paternal grandparents James R. and Civilla Mae Johnson of Alexandria and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Josie Whorton of Castleton. Robert was born in Fairfax and had lived in Woodville for several years. He was a member of Five Forks Baptist Church. A funeral service was held Saturday at Gore Funeral Home Chapel, Culpeper, conducted by the Rev. Wayne Richards. Burial was in Sperryville Cemetery. Cemetery.

Lewis C. Nelson, a former resident of this county, who is now residing in Washington, D. C., flew to Newport News, on last Wednesday, September 22, for the christening of the nuclearpowered guided missile frigate, USS California by Mrs. Richard Nixon. Followsing the colorful christening ceremonies, he attended a luncheon at a nearby Country Club in honor of the First Lady.
