Rappahannock Fire Training School was held Saturday and Sunday and will continue on those days this coining weekend. The annual training session is sponsored by the local county fire association and is endorsed by the State Department of Education which assists with financing the school. The use of air packs during entrance into a smoke-filled building was demonstrated and practiced by this group in a structure designed especially for this class at the pond on Amissville carnival grounds. The fire school is under the direction of Braxton James with Amissville as host company.
