Minister Installed
An installation service for the Rev. James A. Price, who has accepted the pastorate of Macedonia Baptist Church, Flint Hill, will be held Sunday, October 10, 1971, at the church, at 3 p.m.
Rev. Price is a native of Alexandria and was formerly associated with Ebenezer Baptist Church where he was a member of the Usher Board, Superintendent of Sunday School and member of the Board of Deacons. He attended the Washington Baptist Seminary in Washington, D. C. and was ordained in 1957 after which he was assistant minister at Ebenezer serving with the Rev. A. A. Booker.
He is married to the former Carrie Gammon of Bartow, Fla. and they have three children. He served two years with the U. S. Navy.
Usher Board Meeting
The Hopewell Baptist Senior Usher Board business meeting will be Saturday, October 9 at 6:30 p.m. All members please be present.

Madison Horse Show
The eighth annual Madison County Horse Show, sponsored by the Madison 4-H Horse and Pony Club, is scheduled for Saturday, October 9 and Sunday, October 10 at the Young Farmers Show Grounds south of Madison. Activities Saturday will begin at 9:30 a.m. and include 21 English classes with championships for small ponies, large pones, green hunters, hunter horses and pleasure horses. Western classes will be featured Sunday and will begin at 1 p.m. with championships in timed and performance events.
