National 4-H Week
This week has been designated is National 4-H Week throughout ;he county. 4-H’ers in Rappahannock County school clubs lave participated in publicizing he week by constructing a bulletin board on 4-H. The school dubs meet once a month on the bird Wednesday (4th and 5th grades) and Thursday (6th and 7th grades). A Senior 4-H group may be brmed in the county. If anyone is nterested in this group, please contact the Extension Office for urther information (675-3619). A very successful summer with leveral community clubs proved hat there is interest in 4-H. We vould like to see these community dubs continue through the year to juild the 4-H program in the :ounty. This means that adult eaders are needed to support the ictivities of the youth. If you are nterested in helping or paricipating in the 4-H program, take :ime to contact either the Exension Agents, W. Rapley Owings jr Kay E. Webb, for further information.
