Mrs. Ruth Keyser

Mrs. B. J. Wood was a visitor from Wednesday until Saturday of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar D. Charles, Jr. and infant son in Birmingham, Ala.

Mrs. Frank Huff entered the Warren Memorial Hospital on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Timmins of Alexandria are the guests of their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Curtis. Week-end guests were William J. Curtis of College Park and Miss Patty Neiswander of Hagerstown, Md.

Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser of Washington were dinner guests last Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning. Week-end guests were their son Dr. Edgar K. Browning and Miss Jackie Manning of Charlottesville. Jimmy Bowling of Washington, D. C. was a Sunday dinner guest in the Browning home.

Postmaster Barbara Gentry is attending a Postoffice Convention at Anaheim, Calif. W. A. Gentry was a Saturday night dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Labille. Mr. Labille and Mr. Gentry were business visitors Monday in Washington, D. C. Visitors during the week-end of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Pullen were Mr. and Mrs. Bobbie Hawkins and daughter Connie of Arlington, James Pullen and James, Jr. of Falls Church and Earl Putnam of Front Royal. Mr. and Mrs. Paul L. Miller spent the week-end with their son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Paul L. Miller, Jr. at Oden ton, Md. Guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Carson Liliard were Mr. and Mrs. James Lillard of Warrenton, Debra, Diane, David and Michael Lillard of Front Royal, Mr. and Mrs. Tommie Lillard of Castleton and Misses Jean and Judy Lillard of Greenbelt, Md. Mrs. R. B. Allen is visiting her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Michael • Ely in Paris, France. Dr. Allen left Wednesday to join her and they will visit in Lyons and Madrid. Dr. and Mrs. Allen will visit friends in Lisbon, Portugal and spend some time at Algarv on the southern peninsula. They expect to return home November 2. Raymond D. Mrs. R. E. Thompsen entertained the Sperryville Bridge Club at Cab-Inn on Friday night. Her guests were Mrs. E. N. Montague, Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mrs W. H. Cordle, Mrs. L. J. Kilby, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. Roy L. Reeve, Mrs. Charles H. Estes, Mrs. E. A. McNear, Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. J. P. Snead, Jr. and Mrs. Fred Schaefer. Prizes were given to Mrs. Wood, Mrs. Reeve and Mrs. Quaintance.
