We finally reached the top and gazed over into the Shenandoah Valley. We had a nice view even though it was too hazy to see very far, even with binoculars. On our trip down our granddaughter thought we were taking a shortcut, but to my chagrin it soon became apparent that we were lost A little child shall lead them? Better let that happen somewhere I beside a dim mountain trail. That was not so bad, however One thing that marred the trip was sc ilmany beer-hounds had left theii > jcalling cards Things like that dc , more to spoil the ecology than the 11power lines that crossed the trail, I which 1 suppose is a necessary I evil > I shall count that day as a redletter day in our lives. I hope that God will grant us other days when 1 we can climb to the top of some of His mountains. “He who climbs to the mountain top has a better view i of the plain."
