V. a Keeler
Vance Hite Keeler, Sr. of Front Royal died September 29, 1971 at the age of 89.
Mr. Keeler »was born in CedarviUe the son of Samuel and Ellen Fadely Keeler. He was a Watkins salesman in Rap pahannock County for 27 years. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Nellie Hampton Keller and three sons and three daughters by a previous marriage to Bernice Mclnturff Keller who predeceased him. Surviving children are Earl L. Keeler of Washington, D.C., John E. Keeler of Wharton, N. J., William D. Keeler of Upper Marlboro, Md.; Mrs. Amanda V. Bethel of Washington, D.C., Mro. Gertrude I. Jones of Green belt, Md. and Mrs. Virginia E. Thomas of Tom River, N. J.
Also surviving are two brothers, Will C. Keeler of Strasburg and Joe M. Keeler of Vinton; seven grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren.
A funeral service was held Friday, October 1 in the Turner Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. J. Robot Woodside. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
