One of the first new ministers to accept a church in Rappahannock this year is the last to be recognized though no slight was intended. The Rev. David Martin Wayne Brown, who has assumed the pastorate of Forest Grove Baptist Church near Viewtown and the Jeffersonton Baptist Church, was a 64 graduate of Culpeper County High School. He received his B.A. degree in modem language from Clemson University, S. C. and was graduated from the Southeastern Baptist Theological seminary at Wake Forest, N. C. He was ordained June 13, 1971 in the Culpeper Baptist Church. Mr. Brown is working toward his Master of Divinity which he expects to receive in the spring of 72. He is the son of Mrs. A. Wayne Hawkins of Stevensburg, and is married to the former Mary Anne Kinzer of Culpeper, who is employed with Second National Bank in Culpeper.
