Lois Compton
Lois Jean Compton, 15, of Castleton died December 25 in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal, of gupshot wounds inflicted accidentially -by a cousin.
She was the daughter of * *Mr. and Mrs. Warren Emerson (Jack) Compton, who survive, and an eighth grade student at Rappahannock County High School.
Other survivors include four sisters, Polly Ann, Mary Helen and Connie Sue Compton, at homeandMrs. Joseph Colvin ofViewtown; five brothers, Warren E. Jr., Donald Ray, Ronnie Lee, John Henry and Jerry Ashby, all at home.
A funeral service was held December 28 from Geest Funeral Parlors, Culpeper with the Rev. J.S. Colvin conducting. Burial was in Sperryville Cemetery. □
