THIS WEEK marks an important milestone in the young life of the Piedmont Virginian.
This week, the Virginian is being joined by the Rappahannock News, as sister publications of The Fauquier Publishing Company, a locally-owned corporation chartered in the Spring of 1971 to inaugurate^ a new look in newspapering in the beautiful Piedmont area of Northern Virginia.
We’re naturally quite excited about the whole business — for what it can mean for our readers, for what it can do for our advertisers, and for the additional challenge it presents to the staffs of the two newspapers.
