Mrs. Vinda Thornhill Kilby, 94, of Slate Mills died December 27 in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Kilby was a life-long resident of Rappahannock County and a member of ' Slate Mills Baptist Church. - She was the daughter of the late D.W. Thornhill and Corella Hudson.

Survivors include a son, D. Jackson Kilby of Culpeper; two brothers, Otis R. Thornhill of Culpeper and Dr. R.F. Thornhill of Pulaski; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held last Wednesday at the Clore Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Eaton conducting the rites. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper. i_l
