that learning is most rewarding when they perform the actual work, most of the instruction will center around constructed projects. Students will be able to fabricate electrical or electronics devices which are suitable to their interest and knowledge.
While each student is engaged in the building of a project, the appropriate electrical and electronics concepts will be introduced and directly related to each project. The electronics technology student will be introduced to the various types of laboratory equipment and assembly techniques. The houswife, constructing a control device for home lighting level, could be introduced to basic electrical concepts and potential dangers of household wiring systems.
The instructor, Dr. William P. Briley, has been a technician and engineer in industry for several years. He is an honors graduate with a master’s degree in engineering, and a doctorate in education. Dr. Briiey is married, the father of one child, Melanie, and resides with his wife, Yvonne, in Strasburg.
