Mr. Newton left Monday for Streeter, 111. to attend the funeral of his step-mother Mrs, Roscoe Newton and will return home Saturday.

Mrs. Gladys Baldwin of Pamplyn spent last week with her daughter-in-law Mrs. Betty Baldwin and children. Their guests Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. William Sprouse of Dillwyn. y
