THE AIR FORCE landed at R.C.H.S. this week to discuss with Seniors pos sible plans for a future with the Air Force. S.Sgt William Mackenzie talked with about 23 senior boys. Wonder how many got drafted?
Friday night the Panthers traveled to Elkton for a game wiih the Elkton High School Elks. The Panthers put up a good fight against the Elks and the referees but failed, losing 51 to 56. There was a great turnout of fans for the game. Compliments should be given to the spectators for their performance throughout the season and especially at Elkton during this really tough game.
Just to brighter the column 1 thought I’d mention that exams start January 20th!
ANOTHER BRIGHT THOUGHT for Mr. T’s classes is that Friday is tie day that term papers and projects are due. Get to wort people; time’s a wastin’!
Several Seniors have been accepted at colleges. Debbie Barron was accepted at Lynchburg College, Mike Anderson at Madison College, Harrisonburg, and Brenda Printz at Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond. Congratulations to these Seniors and good luck to those wiio are still waiting. □
