Craft group
plans program
The Arts and Crafts Group assembled at Cab Inn, Sperryville, to exchange ideas and work on programs for the coming year.
Some of the topics that will be offered at coming meetings are chair caning, candle making, artificial flowers, fun film and burlap, tole work trays, water colors, quilting and special group projects of small gift items. Look for meeting announcements.
The next meeting will be January 25 at 10 a.m., Cab Inn, Sperryville. Members will learn about and work on crazy quilts. They should bring scraps of silk or silk-like materials (rayon, nylon, etc.) needles, thread, embroidery thread, and scissors.
Visitors are welcomed and any suggestions for activities will be considered.
