A 28-YEAR-OLD Sperryville man has been arrested in connection with an alleged armed robbery that occurred April 12 at Pete’s Restaurant on U.S. Route 211, six miles west ofWarrenton, the Fauquier County sheriff’s department reports.

The defendant is listed as Jerrel Dwyer. Another man wanted in connection with the same case is still at large.

Dwyer was identified in a lineup, Sheriff Luther Cox said. Investigating the case are Deputy Sheriffs Donald Cox and Warren Jenkins.

Pete Fotenos, proprietor of the restaurant, told Cox two young men came into his restaurant about 9 a.m. and ordered ham and eggs. When he started to cook the breakfast they jumped him.

After forcing the restaurant owner into his apartment at the rear of the building, Fotenos said the pair, armed with revolvers and a knife, took all the money and checks
