Man caught

An Amissville man was caught in the act of breaking into a house on Waterloo St. in Warrenton, the Fauquier County sheriff’s department reports.

The defendant was identified by police as Swaney Bridgett. He has been charged with breaking and entering with intent to commit larceny.

Bridgett was apprehended in the home of Mr£. W.W. Sanders, 335 Waterloo St., April 13, by deputy sheriff Warren Jenkins. Mrs. Sanders, who lives alone, called the sheriff’s department when she saw the man enter her home, the sheriff’s department reported. □
