Durbrow has had 38 years in foreign service with tours of duty in Eastern and Western Europe and in Southeast Asia. His first two assignments were in Rumania and Poland and he served three times in the American Embassy in Moscow.
He served over six years in Southeast Asia spending part of that time in Maylasia as Minister-Consul General and as U. S. Ambassador to South Vietnam.
Since his retirement, he has been writing and lecturing on foreign affairs and is presently Director of the Freedom Studies Center at Boston. □
