Lewis Hitt of Castleton received a third place trophy for his Beagle in the 13 inch class of the Madison County Wildlife Association Field Trial. The awards were made at the association’s annual dinner in March. □
DEER HIT
Charles Harrison Smith of Arlington struck and killed a doe deer on Route 211 four miles west of Amissville Sunday morning. Damage to his 66 Rambler was estimated at $400 by Trooper W.A. Buntin, who investigated the mishap. □
