William Aylor
Funeral services were held Sunday at Hopewell Baptist Church in Sperryville for William A. Aylor, 71, of Sperryville, who died Thursday, June 8, 1972 at a Charlottesville nursing home. The service was conducted by the Rev. U.S. Brokenburr. Burial was in the family section of the church cemetery.
Aylor, a self-employed farmer, was a member of Odd Fellows Sunday Fountain Lodge 1897 in Culpeper.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Josephine Aylor; two sons, Henry and Clifford Aylor of Washington, D. C., and five daughters, Mrs. Louise Porter and Mrs. Ruth Howard of Washington, D. C., Mrs. Vandrew Fletcher and Miss Josephine Aylor of Washington, Va., and Mrs. Margaret Akins of York, Pa.
