Ella Mae Harper, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harlon Harper of Washington, was the recipient of the $100 scholarship offered to a senior girl by the Rappahannock County Home Demonstration clubs. She also was awarded the $100 scholarship which the Rappahannock County Garden Club gives annually to a member of the graduating class. This is the Francis J. Leonard Memorial Scholarship, instigated several years ago by Mrs. Leonard of Amissville in memory of her late husband.
