Nelson Franklin Jenkins Jr. of Washington, Va. was cited for reckless driving December 22 following a crash on Route 211 east of the town. Jenkins skidded off the left of the road, through the median and off the left of the west lane.
THE SAME day a more serious two-car collision occurred on Route 312 near Sperryville. Involved were Mrs. Eileen Day of Sperryville driving a 65 Mustang owned by Sidney Platt of Arlington and Richard Melvin Dwyer in a 66 Chevrolet.
