Strother
Funeral services for Mrs. Edwina V. Strother, 64, of Boston, Va., were held December 24 at 2 p.m. in the Hopewell Baptist Church in Sperryville conducted by the Rev. U.S. Brokenburr of Washington, D. C. Interment was in the Nazareth Baptist Church Cemetery in Boston.
She died December 18 in the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.
Mrs. Strother is survived by her husband Johnnie Strother; a son, John E. Strother and one grandson; also a brother, C. C. Lewis,; and a sister, Mrs. Mable Logan, both ofSperryville.
Pallbearers were Connie Legg, Gaylord Butler, James Ausberry, James Lewis, Harry Lewis and Thomas Lewis.
Mrs. Strother was a native of Rappahannock County but had lived in Culpeper for a number of years. She was a member of Hopewell Church. □
