ACCORDING to Trepp, the local area is in “excellent condition,” and all that is needed is a helping hand from Mother Nature in the form of low temperatures or a moderate snowfall.
“The warm weather has served a good purpose,” he said, “for now everything is in top shape to begin business. We are pleased with the local personnel which we have secured.”
“THE AREA now has two chairlifts, a T-bar and two pony lifts, and the snow making equipment is more than adequate for the acreage. The dual pumping system and large air system with cold weather will provide adequate coverage,” he said.
When asked how Rappahannock stacked up against other areas, Trepp replied that the facility is “good,” including lodge, snow system, parking and all aspects of the business.
