daughters, Mrs. Burnham Corbin of Falls Church and Mrs. Mary Frances Chadwell of Front Royal. Also surviving are three sons, Raymond F. Hawkins of Culpeper, Milton M. Hawkins of Baltimore and Otis M. Hawkins of Woodville; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. □

Hughes

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie C. Hughes, 77, of Washington, Va. were held Friday, December 22 at 2 p.m. at the Promised Land Baptist Church of which she was a member, conducted by the Rev. Robert Ausberry. Burial was in the family cemetery at Washington.

Mrs. Hughes died December 18, 1972 at her home. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Francis Freeman and two foster children, Leroy Porter Jr. and Jacquelyn Porter, and six grandchildren.

She was a native of Rappahannock County. □
