Jackson
Funeral services for Richard Jackson, 62, of Washington, D.C., formerly of Woodville, were conducted Friday at the graveside in the Shiloh Baptist Church cemetery, Woodville. The Rev. Willie Williams of Culpeper conducted the service.
A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late Suddith Jackson and the late Hattie Haney Jackson. He died December 25, 1972 in a Washington, D. C- Hospital. He was a retired government employe.
Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Mary Hale of Plainfield, N. J., Mrs. Roberta Wigington of Vienna, Mrs. Alice Matthews of Sperryville and Mrs. Ollie Jackson of Woodville. Also surviving are six brothers, John Jackson of Fairfax, Ned Jackson of Falls Church, Thomas Jackson of Glen Arden, Md., Peter Jackson of Washington. D. C. and Henry and Freddie Jackson of Sperryville. □
