Charlottesville. A native of Culpeper County., he was the son of Mrs. Dallas W. Hansford of Culpeper and the late Cecil Jasper Yowell.
Besides his mother, he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Mary Seabaugh of Front Royal, Mrs. Georgia Weaver of Chicago and Mrs. Myrtle Leake of Culpeper. □

Funeral services for James Champ, 68, of Orlean. were held Monday at Bethel Baptist Church in Amissville with the pastor, the Rev. Robert Ausberry, conducting the service. Burial was in the church cemetery.
He died in a local nursing home December 29, 1972. He was the son of the late Lee Champ and Lula Dade Champ of Fauquier County.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Champ of Amissville and James Lee Champ of Staunton; two daughters, Frances Dawson of Harrisburg, Pa., and Ella Mae Matthews of Arlington; eight grandchildren and several brothers and sisters.
CHURCH SERVICES
Services will be held Sunday morning, January 7 at Washington Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Gruber delivering the sermon. The service begins at 11 a.m.
