Rappahannock High School has been a pretty exciting place for the past week. Our Panther teams have really been on the go!
Saturday morning, the eighth grade team again played Page County on the Rappahannock court and again took a victory. The Panthers won 33-30 with Aubrey Russell and Keith Roberts contributing 10 points each.
That night, our mighty Beasties jumped into action again to play parts of the JV team. The final score was 38-27 in favor of the JV’s. However, the eighth graders wanted everyone to know tljat they’re giving their all and will soon be playing as the Varsity.
High Scorer for the Beasties was Darnell Carter with 11 points while Barry Adkins had 10 points for the JV’s. Jlie eighth grade will play Luray at Luray Saturday.
After these exciting games came another Tuesday night. Rappahannock was up against Strasburg again. The JV’s didn’t come home with their expected victory but the varsity did it again and beat the Rams by 8 points.
