SUBJECTS covered during the four periods of conservation of natural resources 'were soil, water, forests and wildlife. Speakers were Rapley Owings of the Extension Service; David Poe of the Soil Conservation Service office in Culpeper; Clifton Jenkins, local forest warden with the Virginia Division of Forestry and local Game Warden Kenyon.
The object of the course was “to bring about a greater awareness of these four resources which are felt to be the primary natural resources of Rappahannock County.” Stress was placed on the proper use of these resources, their importance to each other and their importance toman. □
