LATHAM’S motion to reflect the view expressed by Miller was seconded by Supervisor Herbert Foster, and adopted unanimously. E. M. Jones, clerk of the Board, noted that several similar resolutions from a, number of other counties" have also been adopted.
Miller commented on a recent meeting of the Virginia Association of Counties, and noted that George Long, the executive director of the organization, “didn’t look too happy about it — he started spluttering when he tried to explain it.’’
