A COURSE in gun safety and a lecture series in conservation of natural resources was held last week at Rappahannock County High School.
A total of 98 students from eighth and ninth grades took part in the National Rifle Association hunter Safety Course.
Instructors for the hunter safety course were Virginia Game Commission personnel Irvin L. Kenyon Jr., local game warden and Assistant District Supervisor Donnie Miller.
Materials for the course were paid for by the Rappahannock Game and Fish Club. Time for the course, four one-hour periods for each class., was provided by the high school during physical ed and health periods.
