R. E. Thompsen entered the University of Virginia Hospital last Wednesday for tests and observation.

Major and Mrs. Paul Thompson of Fork Union were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown. Their son, Jack Brown of Hamilton, was a visitor Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Maurice Manuel of Browntown was an overnight guest Friday of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Varner.

Mrs. Amy Gore of Alexandria was a weekend guest of Mrs. Lee Thornton.

Mrs. Donald Williams and Mrs. Elizabeth Evans of Richmond were guests Monday of Mr. and Mrs. Maury W. Brown.

Recent weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Black were their daughter, Mrs. Louis Hodges and children, Karen and Curt of Richmond.
