So eager are the Supervisors to ram this project down everyone’s throats that even the normal procedure of hearings is being scrapped—possibly in an attempt to head off a growing, if belated, tide of Protest. A joint planning commission-board of supiervisors hearing has been set for simultaneous consideration of both re-zoning and use permit considerations—with six of the seven Supervisors on record as already in favor of the re-zoning and the use permits. How about that, democracy fans?
