COMMISSIONER Hill emphasizes that only those motorists buying passenger car licenses during this March or April will have the selection option. Owners registering passenger vehicles in any other month than March or April in 1973, will receive license plates — and appropriate decals — valid for one year from the month of purchase.
Hill adds, “Virginiadri- • vers will pay no more for their licenses this year, and after this year, there will be no further problem with long lines at Division offices. The multiyear licenses and the staggered system of annual renewal are new services designed to benefit both the citizen and the Commonwealth.” □
