Raymond Noakes Pullen Sr. of Strasburg died March 1, 1973 in the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville. He was 45, a native of Rappahannock, the son of ,Horace C. and Myrtle Noakes Pullen of Flint Hill, who survive

Others surviving are his wife, Mrs. Violet Atkins Pullen; two sons, Raymond N. Pullen Jr. and William D. Pullen, both of Front Royal; two daughters, Misses Diane L. and Patricia S. Pullen, both at home; two brothers, Horace Pullen Ir., Flint Hill and James T. Pullen of Falls Church; three sisters, Mrs. Julia Lillard and Mrs. Etelee Putnam, both of Front Royal and Mrs. Ruth Lillard, Flint Hill.

A funeral service was held March 4 from Robertshaw Funeral Chapel, Front Royal, conducted by the Rev. Jerry Young. Interment was in Panorama Memorial Gardens. □
